Biography - Mr. Mark L. Asbell, Q.C.

A graduate of the University of Alberta Law faculty, Mark previously served with the Alberta Labour Relations Board as a Vice-Chair from 1991 through 1997 and Chair from 1999-2016 .  Prior to his first tenure with the Board, and from 1997 to his most recent appointment, he practiced labour law with the firm Ackroyd, Piasta, Roth & Day.  In addition to his Chair responsibilities, Mark is an active volunteer and Board Director for a number of local and national charity organizations.
